Problem
While cleaning up nameserver entries in reverse lookup scopes dns GUI shows a popup asking
” Do you want to delete the glue record” and hangs.
Solution
- Open adsiedit.msc and connect to the partition hosting this DNS-Zone
- Check den zone for entries other then DC=….
- The other entries are possibly old DNS Servers . Remove them
- Now try to remove the Nameserver in DNS-GUI again.
